Supporting the Canadian Mental Health Association

Comfort from Head to Toe

Since we sold our first pair of Nuknuuk slippers in 1998, providing comfort has always been at the heart of our business – so much so that our mission is providing comfort from head to toe

We recognize that before any individual can feel physical comfort, emotional well-being must be present. 1.6 million Canadians currently have unmet mental health needs. Mental health has declined in over 40% of Canadians since the start of the pandemic. We have also personally seen people close to us face mental health challenges and struggle to find the necessary help. This is why we have decided to support the Canadian Mental Health Association. Through their presence in more than 330 communities across every province and one territory, the CMHA provides advocacy, programs and resources that help to prevent mental health problems and illnesses, support recovery and resilience, and enable all Canadians to flourish and thrive.

Getting real about mental health

One of the challenges to achieving improved mental health is being able to recognize and name what we are feeling. The development of these skills is at the heart of the CMHA’s 2021 campaign On Giving Tuesday - November 30th, 10 percent of sales will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association, National. We hope to raise awareness about the importance of recognizing and expressing our feelings. Our wish is to share this message with as many people as possible to financially support the CMHA and to let anyone who is struggling with a mental health issue know that they are not alone.

Thank you for your interest in this cause. We hope that you will join us in supporting the CMHA,

Sebastien & Robert
